Kenny Miller graduated from Calaveras High School in 1994 and began building his career in his family’s business, where he developed early, hands-on experience operating and maintaining small equipment. In 2003, he joined Holt of California and, over the course of five years, advanced to Lead Mechanic, establishing a strong technical foundation in equipment maintenance, diagnostics, and repair.
In March 2008, Kenny joined George Reed, Inc., where he spent 13 years supporting field operations from a service truck, maintaining and repairing construction equipment across active job sites. He later advanced to Foreman, overseeing the company’s construction equipment and vehicle fleet for approximately three and a half years. Most recently, Kenny was promoted to Equipment Manager, a role he has held for the past year.
As Equipment Manager, Kenny oversees equipment operations at George Reed, Inc., supporting both construction and materials teams through effective maintenance, deployment, and lifecycle management of heavy-duty equipment. With extensive hands-on experience and deep technical expertise, he plays a critical role in ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and operational readiness across GRI’s projects. His leadership helps reduce downtime, enhance field efficiency, and uphold the high standards expected on all George Reed, Inc. job sites.
